Rooted in the interiors of Althorp, the Spencer family’s ancestral estate in Northamptonshire, the collection translates historic craftsmanship for modern living. Inspired in part by the Princess of Wales Bedroom Fall Front Desk & Bureaux, Sunderland showcases richly figured okoume crotch veneers and intricately composed parquetry in an heirloom brown finish that conveys warmth and a sense of time well kept. Subtle brass accents echo the signature detailing of Althorp’s historic interiors. Balancing classical reference with enduring craftsmanship, Sunderland carries the romance of Althorp into the present.
